About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze customer needs and translate relevant requirements into a clear product roadmap
  • Align with stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on business value and market needs
  • Conduct continuous product discovery through customer interviews, Jobs-to-be-Done analysis, and rapid prototyping cycles
  • Define, prioritize, and deliver features that simplify property management
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from user stories and implementation through to the launch of new features
  • Take responsibility for measurable product goals across the modules
  • Use data and user feedback to validate product decisions
  • Work with Engineering and Design to develop user-friendly, high-performance, and legally compliant solutions
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure best practices and compliance requirements are met
  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to plan, coordinate, and track releases
  • Analyze key KPIs and user feedback to continuously improve product performance and customer satisfaction
  • Work with the Head of Product on product vision and differentiation strategy
  • Oversee the entire product, with a focus on rental and financial management, service charge statements (BKA), and DATEV exports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree (e.g., in Business, Computer Science, or a related field) or equivalent training
  • Further training or experience in accounting or taxation is a plus
  • Several years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a SaaS environment
  • Understanding of processes in German property management, gained through personal experience as a landlord or practical work in a property management company
  • Knowledge of rent posting, dunning processes, and rental management
  • Knowledge of operating and heating cost statements (BKA), including heating cost statements in accordance with the German Heating Costs Ordinance (HKVO)
  • Knowledge of DATEV interfaces, document management, and relevant legal requirements
  • Strong analytical skills, a structured approach to work, and a keen sense for excellent user experiences
  • Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a hands-on mentality
  • Confident use of product analytics tools such as Mixpanel and Amplitude
  • Experience with prototyping and research tools, such as Figma and Google AI Studio
  • Experience with AI-assisted workflows, such as Claude Code
  • Strong understanding of design principles and usability; hands-on design experience is a plus
  • Fluent German (C1/C2)
  • Good written and spoken English
