About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the vulnerability management program, including Bugcrowd and Immunefi bug bounties and scanning-tool findings
- Achieve 90%+ SLA compliance on critical and high-severity issues
- Own AI agents that review pull requests for security issues and triage incoming bugs
- Build a security context layer with threat models, asset inventory, and past findings to support AI-agent triage and fix proposals
- Keep threat models and attack graphs current as products evolve
- Review new services with product engineering teams
- Build threat models collaboratively with engineering teams
- Fix security issues in application code
- Report to the Head of Security
- Help achieve the target of fixing 80% of vulnerabilities before production
Requirements
What you’ll need- Application security depth, including identifying broken authentication flows and injection bugs, explaining root causes, and implementing fixes
- Capability as a software engineer who ships production code
- Experience building AI tooling such as agents, automations, or internal tools
- Solid AWS security experience, including IAM, network controls, secrets, and misconfigurations
- GCP, detection and response, and web3 knowledge are useful but not deal-breakers
- Side projects and open source work encouraged
- Ability to work autonomously and alongside engineers
- Willingness to contribute across security functions in a small team
- Web3 experience such as wallet, smart contract, or dApp security is a bonus
- Deeper detection and response experience or interest in developing it is a bonus
- Experience running a bug bounty program or findings pipeline end to end is a bonus
