About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and further develop the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001
Implement and monitor security policies and processes
Take a hands-on approach to securing the company’s software products in collaboration with IT and Engineering
Manage internal audits and support external audits
Ensure compliance with data protection requirements under the GDPR
Work closely with the Data Protection Officer
In the medium term, provide employee training
In the medium term, establish AI security and AI compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid technical background in IT security
Experience with ISO 27001/ISMS
Experience with data protection and the GDPR
Pragmatic, execution-focused, and self-directed approach to work
Ideally, experience in an SME or startup environment
Excellent English skills
German language skills are a plus
Knowledge of AI regulations is a plus
Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are a plus and can also be obtained after joining
