About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide required individual and/or group supervision to associate-level therapists
- Review and approve treatment plans and clinical documentation
- Guide clinical decision-making and case formulation
- Ensure compliance with state licensing boards, payer requirements, and organizational standards
- Maintain audit-ready supervision documentation
- Enforce adherence to Impireum SOPs
- Review clinical notes for medical necessity, accuracy, and alignment with treatment plans
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve consistency across clinicians
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer, clinical leadership, and operations and billing teams
- Support onboarding and training of associate clinicians
- Operate in a supervision-only capacity with no direct patient care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active, unrestricted LCSW-S or LPC-S license
- Eligible to supervise per state requirements
- Licensed in one or more of: TX, FL, MD, DE, PA, GA, LA
- 3–5+ years post-licensure experience
- Prior supervision experience preferred
- Ability to provide individual and/or group supervision
- Knowledge of state licensing boards and payer requirements, including UHC/Optum supervisory billing standards
- Ability to maintain audit-ready supervision documentation
- Ability to review treatment plans and clinical documentation
- Ability to assess medical necessity, accuracy, and alignment with treatment plans
