About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of enterprise ServiceNow platforms
  • Translate business goals into scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions
  • Analyze requirements and review business requirements for technical clarity and feasibility
  • Lead stakeholder workshops and technical design discussions
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and design gaps during development
  • Design, develop, and deploy custom ServiceNow applications and cross-scope solutions
  • Architect integrations with enterprise and third-party systems using REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and middleware
  • Build advanced Service Catalog items and Flow Designer automations
  • Improve and optimize core ITSM modules
  • Integrate AI-driven capabilities for automation, predictive analysis, and decision-making
  • Manage data, workflows, and platform performance
  • Own release management, including planning, environment management, update set deployment, runbooks, and documentation
  • Lead code reviews and oversee testing, deployment, and platform improvement
  • Execute and oversee unit, integration, and regression testing
  • Ensure compliance, governance, solution quality, and technical design records
  • Mentor developers, administrators, and functional team members
  • Lead technical design discussions with clients and communicate solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with federal stakeholders on modernization goals, compliance standards, and security frameworks
  • Monitor ServiceNow releases and recommend enhancements
  • Support Windows Server implementation, upgrades, and integrations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Experienced ServiceNow Architect
  • Experience designing enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions
  • Ability to architect solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, HRSD, SPM, GRC, SecOps, ServiceNow Vault, Automation Engine, and CMDB
  • Experience with custom applications and cross-scope solutions in ServiceNow
  • Experience with REST/SOAP web services, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and middleware technologies
  • Experience with Service Catalog items, catalog client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer automations
  • Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management modules
  • Experience integrating AI-driven capabilities into ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of release management, environment management, update set deployment, runbooks, and Agile sprint cycles
  • Experience with unit, integration, and regression testing
  • Experience with ServiceNow architecture, scripting, DevOps approaches, and platform best practices
  • Knowledge of NIST and FISMA compliance and security frameworks
  • Ability to support Windows Server implementation, upgrades, and integrations
  • U.S. citizenship may be required for certain positions; some roles may require ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
