About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with planning, scheduling, and execution of main stage and secondary stage programming, including guest panels, Q&As, music performances, and opening/closing ceremonies
Brainstorm, organize, and host interactive fan experiences such as anime trivia contests, gaming tournaments, cosplay gatherings, live gameshows, and community workshops
Maintain panel schedules and collect guest presentation materials
Prepare stage run-of-show documents
Assist with guest line management during live programming
Identify panels, activities, and interactive trends desired by fans
Help manage stage timelines during show days
Support stage managers and performers
Resolve live programming needs during events

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deeply immersed in anime, gaming, cosplay, Asian pop culture, and convention culture
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage timelines and keep schedules running smoothly
Comfortable interacting with fans, guest speakers, panelists, and stage performers with high energy and professionalism
Resume and brief cover letter required
Bonus: Prior experience staffing, volunteering, or managing panels at fan conventions, esports tournaments, or pop-culture expos
Bonus: Basic understanding of stage management, AV/production equipment setups, or run-of-show documentation
Bonus: Experience hosting, MCing, or organizing community activities such as esports tournaments, trivia nights, or cosplay showcases
