About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for incentive mechanics within Client Service, having a strong functional understanding of campaign rules to guide and support the team.
  • Interpret the mechanics configured by the technical team, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and points requiring attention in the rules and result calculations.
  • Train and develop the Client Service team.
  • Translate complex rules into documentation, FAQs, and support materials for customer service, campaigns, and clients.
  • Act as the liaison between Support and the technical team, reporting gaps and following up on necessary fixes.
  • Clarify questions from the team and other departments regarding rules, calculations, and how the mechanics work.
  • Functionally validate the behavior of the mechanics from the client and customer service perspectives, flagging discrepancies to the responsible team.
  • Propose improvements and standardization of rules and communications, increasing clarity, efficiency, and customer experience.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong functional knowledge of incentive and rewards mechanics, including eligibility, scoring, calculation, and reward rules.
  • Business rules and scoring/calculation logic: interpret rule logic and identify inconsistencies.
  • Excel and calculation verification spreadsheets: review and simulate calculations to validate results from a customer service perspective.
  • Gap identification and functional validation: flag discrepancies and recommend improvements to the technical team.
  • Training and documentation: train the Support team and produce clear support materials.
  • Analytical and logical thinking: break down problems and structure consistent solutions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy: ensure precision in rules and calculations.
  • Communication and translation of complex rules: explain mechanics clearly to different audiences.
  • Proactivity and problem-solving: anticipate risks and resolve discrepancies.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with Campaigns, Customer Service, and Data teams.
  • Experience with incentive campaign, rewards, or loyalty program mechanics (preferred).
  • Experience in customer service, support, or operations, with a focus on business rules and result calculations.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Production Engineering, Business Administration, Management Processes, or a related field.
