About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent Index professionally to candidates and serve as an ambassador for the organization’s culture, mission and brand
  • Own assigned requisitions end to end for corporate, program support, administrative and professional roles
  • Report on requisition status, pipeline health and time-to-fill metrics; identify hiring risks and recommend solutions
  • Lead intake conversations with hiring managers to define qualifications, evaluation criteria and market expectations
  • Source, attract and engage candidates through direct outreach, referrals, ATS, job boards and passive-candidate strategies
  • Conduct candidate assessments
  • Coordinate interviews across stakeholders and time zones and facilitate criteria-based debriefs
  • Advise stakeholders on interviewing best practices, inclusive hiring, sourcing strategies and candidate engagement
  • Prepare competitive offer recommendations and secure candidate acceptance
  • Evaluate recruiting technologies and automation opportunities
  • Collaborate with HR Operations on post-offer activities and pre-employment requirements
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with EEO, OFCCP, federal contracting and company policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States, without current or future employer sponsorship
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience
  • 5+ years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience supporting administrative and technical roles
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Proven ability to assess talent, influence hiring decisions and deliver an exceptional candidate experience
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent requisitions
  • Strong sourcing expertise using Boolean search techniques, professional networking, employee referrals, talent communities, social platforms and passive candidate engagement strategies
  • Skilled in leading intake meetings and partnering with hiring managers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Paycom ATS preferred
  • Recruiting experience within government contracting or another highly regulated industry preferred
  • Experience supporting a remote, geographically dispersed workforce across multiple states preferred
  • Familiarity with federal contract labor categories, position mapping and contract requirements preferred
  • Experience supporting proposal-driven, contingent, or surge hiring initiatives preferred
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS CIR, CIRA or similar credential preferred
