About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build end-to-end UI test automation for the Occibo web app
Write test plans, test cases, and regression suites for core user flows
Translate product requirements into automated checks, including edge cases
Collaborate with the development team on test data strategies and stable selectors
Run tests in CI, track failures, and help keep the test suite reliable
Use AI tools to speed up test creation, analysis, and maintenance
Work with tools including Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, Vitest, and GitHub Actions
Collaborate directly with the founder and development team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in CS, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience with at least one test automation framework (Playwright or Cypress preferred)
Comfortable with JavaScript or TypeScript and Git
Understanding of CI pipelines and reliable test design
Interest in AI and experience using AI tools
Fluent English
Candidates available to start in October 2026
Mandatory internship as part of your degree program
Prior SaaS UI automation experience (nice to have)
API testing experience using Postman or REST clients (nice to have)
Based in Berlin and able to join onsite occasionally (nice to have)
