About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Centrally manage and continuously develop all topics related to market communication software
  • Prioritize, implement, test, and transition requirements, bug fixes, and enhancements into stable operations
  • Act as the central interface between business teams, IT, and service providers
  • Manage market communication software vendors and ensure transparency regarding priorities, effort, delivery dates, and implementation status
  • Own bug tracking and customer request management
  • Define requirements and acceptance criteria, coordinate remedial actions, and oversee topics through production deployment
  • Coordinate the maintenance and configuration of the market communication software, including eNet data updates and transmission subscriptions
  • Work with business teams to develop requirements for new functionality, automation, and system customizations
  • Assess the impact of regulatory changes and coordinate the required implementation
  • Coordinate releases, patches, and hotfixes, and safeguard existing processes, interfaces, and customizations through structured testing
  • Ensure transparency and reporting of operating costs, proposals, and external and internal effort
  • Support operational teams as the subject-matter expert for market communication software in complex matters

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Very strong understanding of energy-sector market communication and the processes of a metering point operator
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear system requirements, test cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience with bug tracking, customer requests, releases, testing, and business acceptance
  • Experience managing external service providers and controlling costs and effort
  • In-depth regulatory knowledge, particularly of WiM, GPKE, MaBiS, and relevant EDIFACT processes
  • Excellent knowledge of energy-sector market communication systems, ideally Robotron eCount
  • Structured, dependable, and communicative working style at the interface between business teams, IT, and service providers
