About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the operational and strategic collaboration with distribution system operators (DSOs) in competitive metering operations
Clarify switching processes in metering, master data changes, ordering processes via market communication, billing topics, and tenant electricity projects
Conduct joint root-cause analyses and develop solutions with DSOs and internal teams
Develop pragmatic interim solutions and sustainable process improvements for structural or recurring deficiencies
Responsible for escalation management with DSOs
Build reliable contact and partner networks with key DSOs
Follow up on outstanding cases, deadlines, and commitments through to final resolution
Work closely with teams in market communication, WiM, project management, and billing
Derive standards, DSO-specific procedures, and internal recommendations for action
Create transparency around DSO issues, processing statuses, and escalations, and support the systematic evaluation of market partner performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in the energy industry, ideally in metering operations, market communication, or a DSO environment
Familiarity with the roles of metering point operator, distribution system operator, and supplier
In-depth knowledge of energy industry market processes, particularly metering switching processes and regular metering operations (GPKE, WiM, and related market communication processes)
Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with DSOs or other energy market partners
Ability to quickly understand complex operational matters, systematically analyze root causes, and develop solutions with diverse stakeholders
Understanding of end-to-end process chains from the perspectives of the metering point operator, DSO, and supplier
Confident and professional communication skills
Assertiveness combined with a diplomatic, solution-oriented, and collaborative approach
Structured, independent working style and the ability to maintain an overview when managing many parallel cases
