About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary advisor for the Gateway and Capacity Matching cluster within the Intelligence Engine
Architect, build, and maintain Go-based backend services and React/TypeScript surfaces for Capacity Matching and the Inflect Gateway
Evolve matching, confidence-scoring, and cost-optimization logic
Provide technical execution across the coupled Gateway and Capacity Matching surface
Serve as secondary owner and backup for the RouteFinder and Site Prover cluster
Participate in cross-coverage, incident response support, and pull-request assessments
Partner with Data Foundation and Lead-to-Cash pods on source-data quality and gateway transaction integrations
Deliver well-tested, observable code under the pod lead's technical direction
Ensure Gateway and Capacity Matching features operate reliably in production

Requirements

What you’ll need

7–10 years of professional full-stack engineering expertise
Deep production proficiency in Go for backend services
Deep production proficiency in React/TypeScript for frontend interfaces
Applied experience designing, building, and tuning algorithmic matching, ranking, scoring, or recommendation frameworks
Experience with API gateway and integration-heavy backend architectures
Hands-on experience with relational databases, especially Postgres
Experience with cloud deployments, especially AWS
Experience with event-driven messaging
Experience integrating data pipelines
Fluent professional English communication skills
Must be based in Mexico
Must be registered with the Mexican tax authority (SAT) under an applicable business tax regime
Must issue valid electronic invoices (CFDI) uploaded into Rippling for monthly disbursement
