About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate and maintain existing Red Hat OpenShift environments across multiple security domains in cloud and vSphere datacenter environments
- Support OpenShift operators and frameworks, including Crossplane, Kyverno, and Red Hat GitOps
- Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale platforms
- Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
- Support RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack data services
- Automate service deployments
- Optimize system performance
- Integrate with enterprise authentication services
- Establish and improve system monitoring
- Maintain security protocols
- Provide technical support to customers
- Compile detailed documentation
- Participate in agile scrums and other meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
- 5+ years IT experience
- 5+ years experience with Platform as a Service offerings (e.g. Red Hat OpenShift, Tanzu)
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS
- CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have a valid driver's license and transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to perform duties not listed in the job description as required by INflow and its customer
- Must be able to support potential travel requirements
- DoD 8140 compliance may be required by contract
- Desired: Experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift in cloud and/or vSphere environments
- Desired: Python, Shell scripting, Git
- Desired: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem
- Desired certification: Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator
