About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate a single-person high-pressure water jetting unit and specific CCTV equipment
- Identify and promote repair work for problems on the sewerage network
- Investigate sewerage issues and provide first-time resolutions for customers
- Respond to incidents and complete planned maintenance work
- Accurately collect and record site feedback through IT systems
- Work predominantly alone while engaging daily with internal and external customers
- Participate in the standby roster and additional out-of-hours work
- Uphold health and safety protocols and environmental regulatory standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience or willingness to work outside in all weathers; hands-on/manual experience is beneficial
- Good IT literacy, including confident use of handheld devices, mobile applications and digital systems
- Ability to work autonomously and use your own initiative
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Full driving licence
- Ability to work within a confined space and at height without restrictions
- Maximum weight cannot exceed 113 kilograms due to harness weight limits
- Must complete relevant occupational health checks including Hand-arm Vibration (HAV)
- 4.5 tonne licence is advantageous; training will be provided if needed
