About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join proactive pumping station servicing teams
- Optimise the performance and resilience of pumping station assets
- Utilise technology such as Ovarro data
- Maintain and service assets including pumps, valves, gearboxes and motors
- Work with mechanical/electrical control systems and telemetry systems
- Perform general water industry plant maintenance
- Collaborate with a supportive team
- Develop commercial and/or industrial experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least an NVQ Level 2 Mechanical engineering qualification (ideally Level 3) or equivalent
- Relevant apprenticeship completed
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with pumps, valves, gearboxes and motors is advantageous
- Experience working with mechanical/electrical control systems is advantageous
- Experience with telemetry systems is advantageous
- General water industry plant maintenance experience is advantageous
