About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gain experience across Operational Technology, Metering, Operational Control Centre, and Planning & Scheduling teams
- Use operational technology and digital systems to support smarter decision making
- Analyse smart meter data to identify insights benefiting customers and operations
- Work alongside the 24/7 Operational Control Centre to coordinate responses to incidents and operational events
- Support Planning & Scheduling teams to deploy resources at the right time
- Contribute to projects improving resilience, efficiency and customer service
- Explore how data, automation and technology can transform operational performance
- Take ownership of meaningful projects during the two-year graduate programme
- Develop understanding of operational services supporting water and water recycling services across the region
Requirements
What you’ll need- Obtained in the last 3 years or currently studying towards a minimum 2:2 in any degree discipline
- Must have graduated by September 2027 for the 2027 intake
- Curiosity, ambition and willingness to learn
- Problem-solving ability
- Ability to work collaboratively and bring different perspectives
- Interest in technology products
- Passion for the water industry
- Flexibility to work across the Anglian Water Huntingdon area and potentially across the region and departments
- No prior industry experience required
