About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead multiple strategically important projects and initiatives from initial idea and definition through delivery, transition and closure
  • Develop business cases, explore potential solutions, capture requirements and define costs, benefits and expected outcomes
  • Agree project deliverables with sponsors and create project plans, work breakdown structures, milestones and change-management activities
  • Manage project budgets across operational and capital expenditure
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, escalating through appropriate governance routes
  • Build relationships with sponsors, senior stakeholders, business leads, suppliers and delivery partners
  • Establish project governance, reporting and communication across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
  • Coach and develop colleagues to strengthen project and change-management capability
  • Develop engagement and change plans, conduct impact and readiness assessments, anticipate resistance and prepare business areas for transition
  • Coordinate the volume and timing of change for operational and front-line teams
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget and to required quality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience leading multiple, complex projects and workstreams
  • Proven experience leading complex projects from business case development through delivery, governance and benefits realisation
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills
  • Experience managing budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and project controls
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and communicate complex information clearly across all levels
  • Experience leading teams and managing resources
  • Experience delivering successful change adoption across multiple concurrent projects or workstreams
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing priorities and driving outcomes and sustainable business value
