Key responsibilities & impact

Lead high-performing multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver complex digital products and services
Build trusted client relationships and keep delivery focused on outcomes
Shape delivery plans and manage dependencies, risks, budgets and resources
Lead agile ceremonies, governance and effective decision-making
Coach colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement across the Delivery Management community
Work across Delivery, User Centred Design, Architecture, Software Engineering and QA
Deliver high-quality outcomes for complex digital transformation programmes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience leading the successful delivery of complex digital or software projects using Agile methodologies
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across digital, user-centred design, software or DevOps environments
Strong delivery assurance, risk, dependency and stakeholder management skills
Technical understanding and confidence working with technical teams
Commercial experience across budgets, resources, contracts or Statements of Work
Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change
Proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
Experience delivering services against the Government Digital Service (GDS) Service Standard (desirable)
Experience working in digital consultancy or transformation, particularly with UK public sector clients (desirable)
Understanding of cloud technologies, modern software engineering and DevOps practices (desirable)
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro or Azure DevOps (desirable)
