About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define, develop, and govern target-state enterprise architecture across Service Assurance, Fault Management, Performance Management, Network Inventory, CMDB, Observability, and OSS ecosystems
  • Establish long-term architecture strategies aligned with business growth, customer experience, operational efficiency, and digital transformation objectives
  • Create and maintain architecture blueprints, capability maps, reference architectures, standards, and technology roadmaps
  • Drive alignment across legacy, modern, and cloud-native operational platforms
  • Develop and execute OSS transformation roadmaps
  • Lead large-scale transformation programs involving service assurance platforms, observability solutions, inventory systems, and operational tooling
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, rationalize, and consolidate OSS landscapes
  • Define migration strategies toward cloud-native, API-driven, and event-driven architectures
  • Architect end-to-end service assurance solutions for real-time monitoring, fault detection, performance management, service quality measurement, and customer experience visibility
  • Design integrated assurance ecosystems across network, application, infrastructure, and customer layers
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and operational reliability
  • Drive adoption of observability frameworks covering metrics, events, logs, traces, and customer experience analytics
  • Lead architecture governance activities, design reviews, technology assessments, standards compliance, and solution approvals
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and vendor solutions
  • Establish enterprise architecture principles, governance frameworks, and design standards
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle
  • Partner with CTO organizations, Enterprise Architecture teams, Network Operations, Engineering, Product Management, and Transformation leaders
  • Act as primary architecture advisor for service assurance and OSS modernization initiatives
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and communicate architecture vision to senior leadership
  • Provide executive-level technology consulting and strategic guidance
  • Contribute to business cases, investment planning, technology strategy, vendor evaluation, procurement, and RFP activities
  • Present technology strategies, roadmap recommendations, and transformation outcomes to leadership forums and governance boards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of experience within Telecommunications, OSS, Service Assurance, Network Operations, or Enterprise Architecture environments
  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale OSS transformation programs
  • Deep expertise in telecommunications operational support systems and network management domains
  • Demonstrated experience working with Tier-1 telecommunications service providers
  • Experience leading architecture governance and enterprise-wide technology strategy initiatives
