Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in consulting, industry, or an equivalent environment
  • Ideally, exposure to the utilities or energy sector
  • Hands-on knowledge of the energy value chain and current market dynamics in Germany
  • Knowledge of the Energiewende, regulatory frameworks, Marktkommunikation, smart metering, flexibility, e-mobility, or decentralized energy
  • Experience across the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and process design through testing, roll-out, and hypercare
  • Experience with agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
  • Stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
  • Structured problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to gather, validate, synthesize, document, and communicate data and information
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, decision-ready insights and presentations
  • Ability to translate business challenges into pragmatic technology, data, and process solutions
  • Experience applying cloud platforms, data and analytics, automation, and AI to utilities use cases
  • Familiarity with relevant industry platforms such as SAP for Utilities (IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities), CRM, customer engagement, GIS, MDM, or smart-metering solutions is an advantage
  • Ability to engage confidently with clients, architects, and delivery teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in German (minimum B2, ideally C1) and English (minimum B2)
  • Willingness to travel and project-related mobility across Germany and, where required, the wider DACH region
