About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to understand processes, business rules, and improvement opportunities
- Map, document, and propose process improvements using BPMN
- Develop user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, business rules, functional flows, and other analysis artifacts
- Act as a liaison between business areas and development teams throughout the product life cycle
- Clarify functional questions and support the technical team during solution development
- Participate in defining and validating business rules with stakeholders
- Plan, execute, and support functional testing, user acceptance testing, and validation with users
- Support the continuous improvement of the organization’s processes and products
- Contribute to the development of solutions focused on user experience, proposing improvements when necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- Law degree or proven experience working on software projects for the legal sector
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and specifying requirements for software development projects
- Strong experience in process modeling using BPMN
- Experience developing user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, business rules, and functional documentation
- Solid experience with functional testing, user acceptance testing, and software validation
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured solutions for development teams
- Knowledge of UX, user research, and Discovery techniques
- Experience with prototyping using Figma, Miro, or similar tools
- Knowledge of Brazil’s Electronic Judicial Process (PJe)
- Experience working on digital transformation projects for the public sector
- Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or equivalent
