About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Transform business and user needs into clear direction for the development team
- Define, organize, and prioritize the backlog
- Translate business needs and user feedback into clear requirements for the team
- Ensure deliverables are aligned with business objectives
- Lead stakeholder alignment meetings and manage expectations
- Follow development progress and clarify questions for the team throughout delivery
- Conduct functional testing and validate delivered solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Monitor results and metrics to support decision-making and new prioritization efforts
- Engage with government bodies and institutions involved in project governance and definition
- Serve as the link between business, technology, and customers
- Contribute to the evolution of solutions that impact the Brazilian Judiciary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a degree in IT with experience in Legal Tech
- Experience with technology projects in the Judiciary
- Experience as a Product Owner or in similar roles, connecting business and technology
- Experience managing and prioritizing backlogs
- Ability to transform business needs into clear development requirements
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
- Familiarity with demand management tools, such as Jira or similar platforms
- Analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
- Product mindset and focus on user experience
- Knowledge of the judicial ecosystem
- Experience with or knowledge of legal software such as PJe, SAJ, or eProc
- Knowledge of UX/UI and discovery practices
- Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or similar credentials
