About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop innovative digital products and features for the Daily Banking offering for business customers
- Design, develop, implement and test new features and processes
- Own the governance of the associated IT systems
- Analyze market trends, innovations, customer needs, pain points and obstacles along the customer journey
- Build a deep understanding of the market, target groups, pricing and end-to-end processes
- Derive new product ideas and optimization opportunities from customer analyses
- Actively participate in agile sprint events, including planning, reviews and demos
- Write user stories
- Work with an interdisciplinary squad to continuously enhance products
- Contribute to the implementation of the product strategy and to cross-team initiatives and projects
- Design, develop and test new features and payment solutions
- Roll out, analyze and continuously optimize products
- Translate product value propositions into customer journeys and design payment and transaction processes
- Manage bank-wide projects and stakeholders
- Coordinate internal interfaces
- Create policies, work instructions and process documentation
- Deliver compelling presentations to internal and external audiences
- Serve as the point of contact for applications and systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of professional experience, ideally in business development, product development or sales within a bank or FinTech
- In-depth knowledge of traditional banking products for the SME and mid-corporate segments, particularly in Daily Banking
- Strong understanding of the needs of SME customers and their price sensitivity
- Ability to consistently develop products from the customer perspective and drive digital innovation
- Experience with agile working methods
- Proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach, with strong communication skills
- Enjoy building and maintaining professional networks
- High level of initiative, motivation and independence
- Ability to successfully coordinate various stakeholders in a dynamic environment
- Passion for innovation and a focus on sustainable solutions
- Very good written and spoken English
- German is an advantage
- Degree in economics or a related field, a qualification in banking or financial services, or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of traditional SME and mid-corporate banking products, particularly in payments and pricing
- Strong understanding of technical and operational structures, processes and system architectures within the payments environment
- Practical experience working with IT teams
- Ability to translate internal and external requirements into suitable processes
- Analytical mindset with a strong affinity for numbers and data
- Strong communication, teamwork and networking skills
