About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and improve the Customer Journey in Business Banking based on customer needs, target visions, concepts, and User Stories
- Develop and optimize digital products, processes, and Beyond Banking services along the Customer Journey
- Support new solutions end-to-end, from conceptualization, prioritization, and implementation through testing and roll-out
- Ensure a smooth transition of new solutions into operations
- Integrate internal, external, and regulatory requirements into product and process decisions
- Take holistic responsibility for implementing Governance, Risk, and Compliance requirements
- Coordinate tech governance and data protection topics, and contribute to issue management and audits
- Contribute expertise to policies, work instructions, and decision papers
- Design and optimize processes related to business topics and asset governance
- Create transparency, traceability, and clear responsibilities through documentation
- Collaborate with Product Management, Business, Risk, and Compliance teams, and manage stakeholders
- Involve the Leadership Team and Head Office
- Actively support sprint and governance meetings
- Prepare decisions in a structured manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Law, Finance, or a related field, or comparable training/qualification
- Initial professional experience in product development, Customer Journey Management, or consulting in the Banking/FinTech sector
- Practical experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance, or Audit environments
- Good understanding of digital banking products, processes, and services
- Understanding of regulatory processes, AML/KYC, and Non-Financial Risk
- Ability to consistently think from the customer’s perspective, particularly in the Small and Medium-sized Business segment
- Experience formulating and translating requirements and User Stories, and supporting implementation, testing, and roll-outs
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Structured and independent way of working
- Basic knowledge of IT and process landscapes, as well as agile ways of working, is an advantage
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, team spirit, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to think beyond one’s immediate area of responsibility and develop sustainable solutions
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
