Design and implement systems using generative AI and agentic workflows to solve real-world customer business problems
Focus on the time and cost savings delivered by solutions
Support AI governance
Evaluate new tools available on the market
Define intelligent development standards for the team
Ensure that AI solutions integrated with the Java/GCP platform are resilient, secure, scalable, and financially viable
Help measure the productivity gains generated by the use of GitHub Copilot and Claude Code within the development team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong command of the GCP AI stack, including Vertex AI, Model Garden, LLM management and fine-tuning (Gemini), and Vector Search
Advanced hands-on experience implementing AI solutions
Strong knowledge of designing and orchestrating autonomous AI agents (agentic workflows)
Ability to connect LLMs to databases, external APIs, and complex decision-making processes
Advanced use of and technical leadership in the adoption of GitHub Copilot and AI assistants
Solid experience with Java (11/17+) and Spring Boot
Basic frontend knowledge with Angular 14+
Experience with scalable deployments using Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Pub/Sub
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/Cloud SQL and non-relational or vector data stores for RAG
Advanced experience using and customizing Claude Code (a plus)
Knowledge of profitability and FinOps for AI (a plus)
Knowledge of LangChain, CrewAI, or LlamaIndex (a plus)
Active Google Cloud certification, focused on Machine Learning Engineer or Cloud Developer (a plus)
