About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform technical activities related to software quality control
- Follow established procedures and standards to ensure the quality of delivered products and services
- Conduct manual testing
- Execute previously prepared automated test scripts
- Document the results obtained
- Identify and report defects found
- Assist in preparing test plans and verifying requirements
- Participate in problem analysis, assisting with the identification of root causes and proposing solutions
- Perform other related duties inherent to the role
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of software testing fundamentals, including testing types and techniques, the defect life cycle, and the creation and execution of test cases
- Knowledge of application testing, including mobile and/or web applications
- Knowledge of back-end and API testing, including REST/SOAP and the use of tools such as Postman or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret logs
- Knowledge of databases, including basic SQL skills
- Preferred: knowledge of Jenkins
- Preferred: knowledge of PowerShell
- Preferred: knowledge of Azure DevOps, particularly the Test Plans module
- Preferred: experience using Artificial Intelligence tools for testing
