About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead bid management, proposal engineering, and quotation development for ANEMA Motors, VFDs, and drive system solutions
Review customer specifications, technical requirements, and applicable ANSI, NEMA, IEEE, IEC, and CSA standards
Develop technically sound and commercially competitive solutions based on application and system requirements
Support projects from proposal through execution with technical guidance and application expertise
Provide technical support to sales teams and customers across Canada
Collaborate with customers, sales, service teams, and vendors to develop accurate and competitive quotations
Support factory testing, commissioning, and customer start-up activities as required
Manage multiple quotations while meeting quality and delivery expectations
Contribute to proposal development, forecasting, quality management, contract review, and customer consultation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Electrical Engineering degree, Engineering Technology diploma, or equivalent
Eligible for E.I.T., C.E.T., P.Eng., or P.Tech. (Eng.) designation
5+ years of experience in mining and other heavy industrial sectors
Experience with industrial equipment applications in mining, oil & gas, and pulp & paper industries preferred
Strong knowledge of motors, VFDs, power systems, switchgear, motor control, and electrical integration
Experience developing or supporting engineered industrial solutions and drive systems
Familiarity with project documentation, including manuals, drawing submittals, and ITPs
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
Ability to manage competing priorities
Experience with ANEMA Motors and Siemens/Innomotics drive technologies is an asset
