Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions across frontend and backend systems
Build reusable services, APIs, and shared business logic
Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and services
Design and maintain infrastructure and deployment solutions using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices
Develop and maintain automated testing solutions
Collaborate with architects, developers, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Deliver new platform capabilities
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
7+ years of professional software development experience building commercial software applications
Strong experience developing modern frontend applications using React
Strong backend development experience with Node.js, C#, and Python
Strong experience with AWS, including Lambda, ECS, SQS, EventBridge, CloudFront, ALB, and related services
Proven experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Jest and Playwright for automated testing
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Experience using AI-assisted development tools
Must be currently residing in Canada
Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
Successful criminal, educational, and employment history background check
