About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and own integrations between core systems including Salesforce, Iterable, Classroom Manager, Jira, the data warehouse, billing, and logistics systems
Develop on the CRM platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows
Replace unsuitable no-code solutions with maintainable, tested code where appropriate
Design data pipelines and synchronization processes to keep systems consistent at scale
Diagnose data drift caused by data quality issues, API limits, and payload edge cases
Create internal tools and services that automate manual processes for Revenue and Operations teams
Apply engineering standards including version control, code review, CI/CD, environments, documentation, and incident post-mortems
Participate in incident resolution across the Operations ecosystem and fix root causes
Evaluate build-versus-buy-versus-configure decisions and communicate technical trade-offs and costs
Collaborate with Engineering and Data to evolve Operations systems and the product platform coherently
Use AI agents and automation to accelerate development and design AI-assisted business workflows
Mentor colleagues with hybrid or less technical profiles

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience as a software developer (backend or full-stack), with solid fundamentals in data structures, APIs, testing, version control, and debugging complex systems
Strong command of at least one general-purpose language: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java/Apex, or PHP
Willingness to learn other programming languages quickly
Experience designing and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous processes, including handling failure modes
Good SQL skills and comfort working with data models and analytical data such as warehouses and ETL/ELT
Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms is a plus
Technical judgment and ability to write maintainable code
Interest in understanding Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success operations
Interest in AI coding agents and automation tools
High autonomy and ownership
Fluent English and conversational Spanish
Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, SOQL, and deployments, is advantageous
Experience with iPaaS/automation tools such as Make, Zapier, or n8n is advantageous
Experience with Databricks, dbt, Metabase, or similar data stack is advantageous
Background in marketing automation and email/data deliverability is advantageous
Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code is advantageous
Previous B2B or edtech experience is advantageous
