About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the multidisciplinary operations team in Mexico City
  • Own operations across the Americas
  • Act as the operational counterpart for regional business leadership
  • Coordinate supply chain, logistics, operations engineering, revenue analytics, support, legal and finance operations
  • Operate across the full customer and revenue lifecycle, from commercial opportunity through implementation, delivery and post-sale support
  • Provide team context, direction, growth, feedback, career support and day-to-day unblocking
  • Partner with Growth, Revenue Operations, Customer Success and Finance
  • Identify operational friction affecting revenue, customer-facing teams and customer experience
  • Build or coordinate systems and processes to solve operational issues
  • Translate regional needs into requests and initiatives for headquarters in Barcelona
  • Coordinate delivery of new products in the US, including production, shipping, customs clearance and licence provisioning
  • Challenge global processes, tooling and calendars that do not fit Mexico or the US
  • Manage underperforming regional suppliers and service providers, identify root causes and drive resolution
  • Advocate for and implement changes to unsuitable headquarters-selected partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or another highly analytical field
  • 5+ years of experience in demanding, high-performance environments
  • Experience in operating and analytical roles
  • Experience where customer experience and revenue are connected to operational excellence
  • Experience in management consulting, a high-growth scale-up or startup, technology, or similarly high-performance environments
  • Track record in customer-facing or commercially connected environments influencing revenue, retention, customer experience, operational efficiency or growth
  • Exceptional problem-solving and structured-thinking skills
  • Ability to move between strategy and execution
  • Strong stakeholder management across cultures, seniority levels and time zones
  • High ownership and resilience
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the region, including the US and Barcelona
  • Comfort using AI tools
  • Nice to have: exposure to supply chain or physical distribution
  • Nice to have: familiarity with CRM and operational tooling, including Salesforce
  • Nice to have: experience with financial operations
  • Nice to have: experience in EdTech or businesses serving institutional customers
