About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Learn and apply Innovatrics’ accounting and financial processes, including supplier invoice workflows, VAT compliance, credit card transaction settlement, and internal accounting controls
Execute and manage double-entry bookkeeping, credit and debit card settlement, and supplier invoices
Process and track invoices while ensuring accurate cost allocation and supporting VAT compliance
Collaborate with the Chief Accountant and Financial Controller on reporting and operational finance tasks
Supervise automated document processing by reviewing AI-extracted data from supplier invoices and receipts, resolving exceptions, and ensuring records are complete and accurate before posting
Take ownership of selected accounting processes and reporting activities
Support the transition from paper-and-PDF accounting to digital, AI-assisted workflows by designing rules and controls
Partner with internal stakeholders across departments and help scale accounting operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 1 year of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping under Slovak legislation
Knowledge of Czech accounting legislation is a plus
Clear understanding of VAT regulations and related accounting processes
Experience working with accounting software and ability to become familiar with new software quickly
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Fair command of English
Willingness to work daily with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) and automated document-capture systems
Comfortable balancing routine accounting tasks with problem-solving and process improvement initiatives
