About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Explore the Criminal Justice portfolio, technical architecture, and solution roadmaps
  • Understand the Solution Manager’s vision and translate cluster strategy into deliverables
  • Build relationships with engineering, platform, R&D, presales, sales, marketing, and professional services teams
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and roadmap planning
  • Understand pipeline, customer pain points, and recurring solution gaps
  • Translate the roadmap into actionable epics with scope and acceptance criteria
  • Write and maintain clear, testable project requirements
  • Own backlog grooming, prioritization, dependency tracking, and blocker removal
  • Support sales and marketing with solution collateral, demo scripts, datasets, feature briefs, FAQs, and competitive positioning inputs
  • Collaborate with presales on RFPs, POCs, and customer-specific Criminal Justice configurations
  • Report delivery progress, risks, and customer feedback to the Senior Solution Manager
  • Own end-to-end delivery for one or more Criminal Justice modules
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams
  • Improve requirements capture, delivery tracking, and go-to-market enablement
  • Provide customer and market insights to shape the roadmap
  • Represent Innovatrics solutions in customer workshops, demos, conferences, and industry events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Practical experience in product ownership or product management, ideally as a Product Owner in an IT company with established engineering teams and agile delivery processes
  • Relevant business analysis experience combined with responsibility for product delivery is welcome
  • Ability to translate customer needs and roadmap priorities into clear epics, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria
  • Practical understanding of product management and agile software delivery, including backlog refinement, prioritization, sprint planning, and evaluating delivered changes
  • Ability to understand software architecture at a high level, including key components, APIs, integrations, and dependencies
  • Ability to discuss requirements and trade-offs with engineers; hands-on development experience is not required
  • Collaborative approach to working with Engineering
  • Ability to align features with product direction, user workflows, and consistent user experience
  • Strong ownership and attention to product quality, usability, and performance
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to track dependencies, raise risks, and align stakeholders
  • Ability to suggest practical improvements to requirements discovery, prioritization, and software delivery
  • Clear written and spoken English
  • Willingness to learn criminal investigation workflows, biometric identification, and law enforcement operations
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, workshops, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Exposure to criminal justice, law enforcement, public safety, or government technology projects is a plus
  • Familiarity with biometrics or ABIS is a plus
  • Experience with customer demos, POCs, tenders/RFPs, or presales is a plus
  • Experience with complex user workflows, data analysis, or external-system integrations is a plus
  • UX-oriented experience is a plus
  • Awareness of data protection, access control, and auditability is a plus
  • French, Spanish, or Portuguese proficiency is a plus
