About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop bug fixes, enhancements, and new features within the WMS product
  • Provide production support by investigating incidents, diagnosing complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing reliable fixes
  • Use AI-assisted engineering tools, including Claude and MCP integrations, to analyze the codebase, investigate production issues, develop solutions, and accelerate test coverage
  • Validate AI-generated code and technical conclusions, ensuring solutions are correct, secure, maintainable, and appropriate for production
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to maintaining high standards for code quality and engineering practices
  • Collaborate within a Scrum team throughout the delivery lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of commercial software development experience, primarily with Java
  • Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, clean code, and software engineering principles
  • Strong experience with Java EE, Spring 5 (Core, MVC, Security), and Spring Boot 2
  • Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of relational database principles
  • Experience designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting REST APIs
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills, including production environments
  • Deep experience with AIDLC (AI-Driven Lifecycle) and agentic programming mindset
  • Ability to effectively use AI for codebase analysis, implementation, debugging, production issue investigation, and automated test generation
  • Strong unit testing skills with JUnit, Mockito, and related testing practices
  • Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with application servers such as IBM WebSphere
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux environments and Bash
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Upper intermediate English
  • Nice to have: Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, logistics, fulfillment, or other supply chain domains
  • Nice to have: Experience with IBM Db2 and/or Oracle Database
  • Nice to have: Experience with Docker and containerized environments
  • Nice to have: Experience with C++
  • Nice to have: Experience supporting large-scale or legacy enterprise applications
  • Nice to have: Experience with MCP-based AI tooling and integrations
