About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and maintain repeatable data quality testing methodologies and automated validation frameworks across client programs
- Partner with Engineering and Program leadership to stand up, scale, and mature the Analytics Engineering function
- Define core processes, documentation standards, and delivery frameworks
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to analytics engineering team members
- Perform hands-on data work for critical projects and programs
- Monitor data pipelines and warehouse architectures for accuracy, reliability, and compliance
- Design, refine, and champion analytics engineering best practices and workflows
- Conduct regular code reviews and enforce code maintainability, performance, and scalability best practices
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for Analytics Engineering for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years in data or analytics engineering, with proven expertise in data modeling, transformation frameworks, and modern warehouse architectures (consulting or public sector experience a plus)
- Experience coaching or mentoring technical team members, including conducting thorough code reviews and enforcing best practices
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining data quality testing methodologies and automated validation frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Ability and willingness to jump into hands-on data work to support project execution and meet complex client deliverables
- Strong background in establishing engineering workflows, documentation standards, and scalable practices to elevate client delivery
