About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join the Fusion LDI team in Manchester
Build innovative solutions enhancing liquidity and portfolio management across the business, including the Front Office
Develop modern applications using a React front end, C# REST APIs, and SQL databases hosted in Azure and AKS
Use Agile Scrum to deliver a continuous pipeline of features through CI/CD, test environments, and production
Provide technical advice to developers and help design technical standards
Drive change and innovation, bring relevant teams together, and lead retrospectives
Assess and recommend architectural patterns based on functional and non-functional requirements
Present information to stakeholders within and outside Technology
Mentor the wider team and support the Team Lead in optimizing team performance
Participate in and lead meetings with business stakeholders
Contribute to defining and maintaining product quality standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Fundamentals and approaches: OOP, SOLID principles, DDD, TDD/BDD/ATDD
Distributed, service-based architectures (messaging, pub/sub, streams, micro-services)
Secure SDLC practices and toolsets
Extensive experience in C# / .NET / ASP.NET
SQL
Azure fundamentals, including Key Vault, Entra, and App Insights
Docker / Containerisation
Azure Kubernetes Service
Authentication and authorization, including Identity, JWT, and OAuth
DVCS with Git
CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or Artifactory
Experience working in Agile teams performing iterative development
