About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products
- Design and code automated functional, integration, and regression tests
- Run manual tests and report metrics and defects
- Design and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews, testing, bug bashes, and Agile rituals
- Work with the team lead to build applications
- Assist in research activities and proofs of concept
- Contribute end-to-end work within self-sustaining scrum teams across technology platforms, web applications, high-performance data drivers, and business finance data
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- Study of data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, and databases
- Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages; SQL, PL/SQL, C#, C++, Java, and JavaScript are used
- Solid programming skills
- Experience with unit testing tools such as NUnit, CppUnit, xUnit, or JUnit
- Exposure to databases and data modelling
- Excellent proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
- Background check required for employment where permitted by country, state/province
