About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute and ensure accurate, compliant control environments under local EUI/French accounting standards and reporting requirements
Take responsibility for EU/French statutory financial statements and in-country compliance requirements such as VAT compilations
Prepare audit schedules for local statutory EU/French audits and US GAAP audits
Implement consistent global accounting policies and procedures within regional entities
Create processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results
Provide ad hoc financial analysis support to the Finance team and business
Perform balance sheet reviews and report on monthly income statement analytics
Liaise with stakeholders to resolve complex accounting issues
Liaise with business owners to clarify processes and deadlines
Collaborate on scalable processes supporting company growth and expansion into new locations
Perform other ad hoc duties identified by the center of excellence management team
Plan, organize, and execute statutory and compliance activities for timely delivery
Document technical accounting decisions clearly and logically in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualified accountant with 5+ years of accounting experience
Big 4 accounting experience preferred
Knowledge of French GAAP is an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with all levels within and outside the company
Ability to communicate freely verbally and in writing in English
Other European/French language is an advantage
Mix of Big 4 and industry experience in Accounting, Audit & Compliance preferred
Experience with NetSuite/Salesforce preferred
Software industry experience preferred
Able to work UK time zone
Background checks are required for employment with insightsoftware, where permitted by country, state/province
