About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute and ensure accurate, compliant control environments under local accounting standards and reporting requirements
Prepare statutory financial statements and in-country compliance requirements, including VAT compilations, government IDs, and filings
Liaise with business owners to clarify and meet processes and deadlines
Coordinate with the SSG India team to prepare audit schedules for local statutory audits
Provide ad hoc financial analysis support to Finance and the business
Support transition of Treasury and P2P accounting processes with the SSG team in India
Perform ad hoc administrative duties related to compliance matters
Plan and execute statutory and compliance activities to meet reporting deadlines
Document technical accounting decisions clearly and logically

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced accountant with good knowledge of Treasury, banking, and P2P processes in Finland
Fluent in both Finnish and English, verbally and in writing
Willingness to go beyond day-to-day tasks to unlock challenges and opportunities
Experience with NetSuite desired but not required
Background checks are required for employment where permitted by country, state/province
Ability to reside in Finland; ideally Helsinki
Part-time availability
