About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop frontend applications, such as SAPUI5 / Fiori apps
  • Develop backend services, such as ABAP, CAP, Node.js, and Java
  • Extend and customize SAP HCM applications
  • Extend and customize SAP SuccessFactors solutions
  • Develop cloud-based BTP applications
  • Contribute to integrations between SAP HCM and SuccessFactors, as well as SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Use the SAP Integration Suite, APIs, OData services, and IDocs
  • Contribute to developing solutions on SAP BTP
  • Use extensions (side-by-side), Work Zone / Launchpad Services, and Identity Services (IAS/IPS)
  • Gain initial exposure to AI and automation in the HR environment
  • Work on real customer projects alongside experienced architects and consultants
  • Gradually assume responsibility within projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Initial practical experience in software development, for example through internships, working student roles, or personal projects
  • Initial knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML / CSS, Java, or Node.js
  • Knowledge of ABAP is an advantage, but not required
  • Basic understanding of web technologies
  • Basic understanding of APIs / interfaces
  • Interest in HR processes and business contexts
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies (SAP, cloud, integration)
  • Team player with a hands-on mentality
  • Good German and English language skills
