About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Tutor students one-on-one on all sections of the MCAT exam
- Tailor an MCAT test prep curriculum to students’ needs
- Track and analyze student progress and performance
- Create and maintain project trackers to monitor MCAT preparation progress
- Keep students’ families up to date on academic progress and MCAT milestones
- Serve as a passionate education professional, expert MCAT tutor, and thought leader for students
- Create personalized MCAT study plans and provide expert guidance for every section of the MCAT exam
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have a 4-year college degree (Bachelor’s Degree or higher is required)
- Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Have previously taken the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) (copy of official score report required)
- Able to provide MCAT test preparation for the full exam and each section
- Superior attention to detail and ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable teaching and coaching in a fully remote tutoring environment
- A baseline MCAT score of 521+
- Approximately 20 hours per week commitment, including tutoring and preparation time
