About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own a product area end to end, from scoping and design through implementation, launch, and customer value
Build the agentic parts of the product
Use coding agents for code generation, migrations, test coverage, and spec-to-PR workflows
Share effective agent-assisted practices with engineering
Talk directly to customers, join escalations, review session replays, and participate in customer calls
Drive scope and iterative delivery as product and customer knowledge grows
Instrument features and monitor adoption, p95 performance, and infrastructure cost
Operate shipped systems, participate in on-call, share learnings, and implement preventative measures
Improve company-wide engineering efficiency
Raise code quality and security and improve maintainability
Own customer outcomes across the SDK, pipeline, API, and dashboard
Participate in pricing, packaging, and positioning decisions affecting the product area
Deploy continuously and monitor deployments

Requirements

What you’ll need

A track record of shipping products that real users depended on, with involvement in product decisions
Deep production experience in Golang, or equivalent depth in another server language
AWS production-scale experience across compute, storage, networking, and CI/CD, with understanding of costs
Experience shipping something built on LLMs, including retrieval, tool calling, evaluations, latency, and failure modes
Daily agent-assisted workflow and ownership of generated work, quality, and implementation approach
Solid API design skills
Comfort with MySQL, Redis, and a messaging system such as Kafka
Pragmatic approach to testing and guardrails
Clear technical writing, including design notes, incident writeups, and release notes
Mobile experience, SDK work, or production app debugging is helpful
Columnar and streaming infrastructure experience, such as ClickHouse or Flink, is helpful
Developer tools or observability product-domain experience is helpful
Open source work is helpful
