About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct home care services to older adults and adults with disabilities under the direction and supervision of Staffing and Client Service Managers
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Drive or accompany clients to shopping, errands, or doctor’s appointments
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, or exercise
- Prepare meals, including special diets, and provide feeding assistance
- Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, laundry/linen changes, and dishes
- Provide medication reminders
- Provide respite and companionship engagement
- Provide pet care
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance
- Support clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s care, and hospice
- Serve clients in homes, hospitals, day centers, skilled nursing facilities, and community residential facilities
- Maintain communication with the administrative team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Home Care Services Bureau (PER ID#) registration
- Livescan/Fingerprinting clearance; clean criminal background
- Current tuberculosis/TB clearance (skin test, X-ray or blood test)
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. with 2 forms of I-9 compliant IDs
- English language proficiency is a must
- At least 1 year of non-medical professional experience caring for elderly or disabled adults and/or related caregiving experience
- Consistent ability to get to and from client assignments by car, public transportation, etc.

- Continuous communication with administrative team
- Ability to lift 35 lbs or more using proper body mechanics
- Ability to lift, transfer, push/pull, reach, bend, walk, maneuver, and reposition
- Basic smartphone and technical skills are desired
- Bilingual proficiency in Tagalog, Spanish, Chinese, or Russian is desired
- CNA or HHA certification is highly desirable but not required
- Basic computer skills are advantageous but not mandated
