About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop embedded software for the camera subsystem of Embedded Android systems using Kotlin/Java
  • Integrate camera subsystem features/libraries with Embedded Android
  • Support camera certification testing for AOSP
  • Analyze issues and debug logcat logs at the application and framework levels, including SELinux and dmesg
  • Adapt system applications for new Android versions
  • Participate in code reviews with the team
  • Participate in technical and requirements discussions
  • Work on an international project, requiring reading, writing, and conversational English

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Android development using Java or Kotlin
  • Intermediate knowledge of C or C++
  • Experience with Linux and/or AOSP
  • Experience analyzing Linux journald or adb logs
  • Experience with Git
  • Advanced spoken English for communication with an international partner
