About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with users to understand problems and challenges and propose effective solutions
- Develop the backend of a web solution using Python, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Develop APIs to integrate the data platform with external systems
- Implement CI/CD automation for data and notebook pipelines (Databricks/Fabric)
- Support the provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure on Azure
- Support data engineers in building and industrializing ingestion pipelines, including integrations through scraping and data replication
- Implement monitoring and alerts for production pipelines, including detection of specific failures
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) rules and mechanisms for anonymizing sensitive data
- Collaborate with QA on defining load and security tests for APIs and the platform’s access model
- Provide technical support for performance testing and user acceptance testing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience in backend development
- Experience with backend development using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks such as NestJS and Express
- Experience configuring and using Azure data services, including SQL Server and Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with software architecture, including hexagonal and clean architecture
- Terraform experience is a plus
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins and Git
- Knowledge of Azure services such as App Services, Functions, and Key Vault, or similar services
- Knowledge of microservices and Kubernetes is a plus
- Familiarity with application and API security practices
- Advanced English proficiency
