About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze, define, and monitor safety requirements applicable to embedded systems and technology solutions
- Support Functional Safety and Safety Engineering activities in collaboration with software, systems, quality, validation, and architecture teams
- Support the definition and analysis of system safety requirements
- Participate in risk analyses, hazard identification, and the definition of mitigation measures
- Prepare and maintain Safety-related documentation, evidence, and traceability records
- Support HARA, FMEA, FTA, and other risk assessment techniques
- Monitor the implementation, verification, and validation of safety requirements
- Support technical reviews, audits, and the follow-up of nonconformities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience developing embedded systems, safety-critical systems, or working in systems engineering
- Knowledge of Functional Safety and ISO 26262
- Knowledge of risk analysis and risk management
- Experience with requirements, traceability, verification, and validation
- Knowledge of SOTIF (ISO 21448)
- Experience with HARA, FMEA, FTA, and Safety Analysis
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE
- Experience with automotive systems, ADAS, or perception systems
- Knowledge of tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Jira, or similar platforms
