Key responsibilities & impact

Define, document, and execute test plans and test cases for the features developed by the team.
Define and validate data quality rules (quality gates) to detect duplication and inconsistencies across sources.
Test ingestion and transformation pipelines, including failure scenarios such as schema changes, scraping blocks, and source unavailability.
Validate the accuracy and coverage of data classification and matching mechanisms using reference samples.
Validate test coverage and prepare and monitor test execution and bug reports.
Test security and access controls (RBAC) across the different layers of the platform.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) with the client, validating deliverables at each major project stage.
Support the documentation of success criteria and outcomes of the project's investigative activities, focusing on the empirical validation of experiments.
Build automated tests for the developed solutions using available tools.
Participate in technical and requirements meetings with the partner.
Implement automated data quality tests, including completeness, consistency, and business rules.
Conduct performance and load testing on pipelines and analytical queries.
Document and report bugs, tracking their resolution with the technical teams.

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Solid experience in manual and automated testing within Agile (Scrum) teams.
Experience with web testing and scripting.
Knowledge of testing strategies, including regression, sanity, exploratory, performance, and load testing.
Experience with testing frameworks and tools for test management, quality, and coverage.
Knowledge of SQL for data validation and writing verification queries.
Familiarity with API testing (REST/SOAP) and tools such as Postman.
Experience with automated testing tools is desirable.
Knowledge of security testing and access control (RBAC).
Strong analytical skills for validating the accuracy of data classification and matching mechanisms.
Experience with performance/load testing in cloud environments is a plus.
Availability to work in a hybrid model in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil.
