UI/UX Design Intern

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the evolution of the project’s Design System at Instituto Eldorado
- Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes for new platform features
- Support the definition and evolution of navigation flows and user experience
- Participate in Discovery activities and requirements refinement with the product team
- Create wireframes, user journeys, and user flows for new and existing features
- Support the functional and visual documentation of proposed solutions
- Ensure visual and usability consistency across the platform’s modules
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and project stakeholders
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow the implementation of the developed interfaces
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of UX Design/UI Design, Design Thinking, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and Agile Methodologies
- Knowledge of design tools, preferably Figma
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Organization and attention to detail
- Interest in learning about enterprise digital product development
- Knowledge of Design Systems
- Academic or personal experience prototyping desktop applications
- Basic knowledge of accessibility and usability
- Previous experience in UX/UI projects
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator and Photoshop
- English proficiency for reading documentation, writing, and basic communication
