About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather information and investigate capabilities of company products and equipment
Analyze customer problems and assist in designing systems to meet customer needs
Prepare equipment analyses to instruct sales force and customers on Integer’s manufacturing capabilities
Establish baseline production costs supporting product quotations
Research, develop, integrate, and implement electrical systems and equipment for product compliance testing
Use software integration tools and industry communication protocols for connectivity
Learn product functionality from passive components to active implantable devices
Document test systems for installation, operation, maintenance, and repair
Research advances in testing technologies
Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria
Review procedures and plans before implementation; evaluate products, processes, and materials for failure analysis and improvements
Investigate, develop, document, and implement moderately complex product and process technologies
Identify technical challenges, mitigate potential issues, and incorporate improvements
Plan, schedule, and execute engineering work within major projects or lead smaller-scope projects
Apply data analysis to establish root causes of product and process failures and support improvements
Observe products and processes, identify discrepancies, and determine root causes
Collaborate with others, exchange information, ask questions, and check understanding
Support Quality Management System adherence, corrective and preventive actions, quality KPIs, and the journey to 5 Sigma
Perform other duties as directed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related technical field, with at least three years of relevant experience
Candidates not meeting the education requirement may qualify with 7+ years of relevant experience
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with associates and cross-functional teams
Solid technical aptitude and ability to contribute technically as an individual or team member
Functional understanding of Integer Quality Management Systems
Ability to complete required Quality System documentation tasks with little or no direction
Competency in written and oral communications
Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a high-energy, constantly changing production environment
Adherence to Integer Values, safety, environmental, security, quality, QMS, FDA, company policy, operating procedure, and regulatory requirements
