About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead two mission-critical infrastructure transformation initiatives within Commodities IT
Orchestrate complex deliveries across multiple legal entities, IT product lines, and organizational units
Manage end-to-end project governance, technical dependency alignment, and execution planning
Build, baseline, and maintain milestone-driven technical project plans, resource allocations, and critical-path schedules
Coordinate infrastructure engineering, network operations, security, data center facilities, and external vendors or cabling contractors
Define runbooks, rollback strategies, and cutover protocols for recabling and migrating 300+ mission-critical bare-metal and appliance targets
Identify architectural bottlenecks, multi-team dependencies, hardware lead times, and operational risks
Provide data-driven status reporting, KPI tracking, and escalation management to the Head of Infrastructure Engineering and IT leadership
Support high availability, compliance, and zero unplanned downtime for trading and post-trading systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of technical project management experience delivering large-scale data center, network, or systems infrastructure projects in high-availability environments
Experience in FinTech, Capital Markets, Energy/Commodities, or Telecommunications environments
Technical foundation in Layer-2/Layer-3 networking
Experience with physical data center rack and cable management
Experience with server lifecycle migrations
Knowledge of enterprise storage and backup architectures, including immutable snapshots and air-gapped storage
Proven experience in detailed cutover planning
Knowledge of ITIL change management
Experience creating runbooks
Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder initiatives across matrixed organizations
Recognized project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is desirable
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Ability to translate technical constraints into executive-level briefings
Fluent English and Czech
German is a plus
