About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Facilitate proactive sales and marketing activities and provide objective, consultative support for clients’ planning needs
  • Manage sales results through suitable client recommendations, case design, and tailored sales concepts
  • Manage accounts for a specified group of Regional Vice Presidents
  • Build and nurture agent relationships around Long Term Care Planning
  • Present to end consumers, educate them, and guide them to act on recommendations
  • Generate sales by educating and training advisors in the specified territory
  • Monitor product offerings, rate changes, state approvals, and industry developments
  • Respond to inquiries from colleagues and clients and communicate with peers and team leaders
  • Distribute marketing materials and policy forms from carrier websites
  • Provide App Ease service, including scheduling, executing, and delivering clean applications
  • Stay current and proficient in company processes, policies, and proprietary software

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with major in business or a related field, plus two to three years of related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial services field is preferred
  • Prior experience selling Long Term Care and Linked Benefit products is preferred
  • Strong industry knowledge and relationship building skills
  • Track record of successful selling is ideal
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Knowledge of traditional Long Term Care insurance, Accelerated Benefit, and Linked Benefit products
  • Knowledge of core carrier underwriting requirements
  • Proficiency in company business processes, policies, and proprietary software
